2nd week

How am i doing so far? well.... it is not too bad... i went walking once with halil at the sahil area... 2 mornings i didnt walk coz of halil...but later i did walk some where somehow....basically on weekdays i somhow walk... weekends r something else of course... the kidsr are at home... so i need to deal with them...

I started with a weight of 79.7kg.... on the 27th of September.Just now i checked my weight..it is now 75.8kg...of course after the iftar, that number should increase a bit. But for me who cannot lose weight easily, this is a good start. I am happy about it.Like i said, my aim is to be 60kg in 7 months time... well.. at least until before i go back to Malaysia in summer next year.Pls pray 4 me..

I am also taking different routes in my walk... the same routes everyday will be boring. So at times i walk towards the seaside area.. at times i just simply walk into bağdat caddesi n forward... at times i walk around my living area...i e çamlık part.. taking detours.. long detours towards that park...it is interesting to say the least...

but after today..at least until thursdy, i will not be able to take my morning walks...we will be hosting iftars every day. i need to be prepared for that.will i increase my weight without the walk? that we will see...

New resolution

My previous attempts to lose weight had been futile efforts. none worked coz i just simply do not have the time to limit myself to *stale tasteless food*...

Now both my kids have started school..meaning till 4.30pm every weekdays, i have plenty of time for myself...to do what i please...

So..food limitation? Yes.. i do try to decrease my coke... i do try to decrease fattening stuffs ..(pls note..decrease..not eliminate)... my aim is to lose weight thru walking... i will say walking for now... my original plan is *cycling*..but considering that the kids have just started school n the early session schoolexpenses r sky rocket high... i am postponing (though my heart breaks) this cycling thing for one year..well.. at least i think i am confident that halil can afford to buy me a bicycle (a bicycle..ie mountain bike costs the cheapest 320YTL with 18 vites and the most expensive 1600 YTL with 24 vites)... i am used to the 21 vites..so i will aim for that...maybe i will save money for that myself.. we will see..

For now, i walk...it has been a week now. i walk with an estimate of 2 hours a day..

i am the type who losses weight very hard and can gain weight almost instantly... genetics i suppose..so to lose weight... i need to work extra hard for that...and for one week.. i think i have lost 2 kg...and can u imagine? only lose this much despite doing all the walking while fasting..

i am not going to give up... i am determined this time... my aim is to lose 20kg within 7 months... i dunno if i will succeed..but i will not give up trying. that is for sure..

but i can feel how my morality improves every walking days.. perhaps that is because i listen to yaasin while walking.. perhaps as my soul feeds on the holy words of Allah... it calms me down? i dunno...but i feel much much more alive than before and my stamina has improved to a great deal...

we will see how it goes....wish me luck!
