I called Meşe just now.I asked her whehter she can ask for an appointment with the acupunturist sometime later next month. I really need to have my back looking at. It has been giving me pain for years. But why now? Why only now i wanna start looking after my back? Well.. when the back hurts, my feet hurts...if my feet hurts..i cant walk.. if i cant walk, i cant lose weight or do anything much. i will be dependng on apranax n kuilin my whole life...i dont want that. i may not be in a strict diet foodwise..but for my standard..i am quite careful... especially after this morning's walk..i need to do something regarding my back pain. Allah, help pls...

Come to think of it, I thought Malaysian food makes it easier for us to gain weight compare to Turkish. Unless McDreamy keeps preparing healthy meals for us, which are not really Turkish food. heheheh..

Hey...did I ever mention that I used to be "comel" when I was in uni? Extra 15kg! And yes, it took away my confidence level and I was ALWAYS with the wrong kind of guys (translation JERKS!).

You hang on and dont give up! Remember you have many people who love and care about you, which is why you should keep healthy and keep fit.

ps: sometimes we need to disengage our emotions from certain people (in your case, homeland people) and focus on people who matter most to us.

Simah, hope your back won't be giving you much problems soon.

I know how much you love your cokes ... but Simah, try to give up on the cokes totally. You pun tahu how much sugar is in there. Try plain carbonated water. Or, you can try this, which I got from my son's book on science experiments ... you can make your own "fizzy" drink, add lemon juice to water, and add a bit of bicarbonate soda. Nanti I'll get the full "recipe" for you.

my sis 90+ kg but jgn terkejut, low in cholestrol, low bp, low in sugar level.. she's a happy go lucky girl.. doctor pun terkejut..

heheh u cuba mai turki sebulan..makan purely turksh food.. n after that one month..cuba tengok ur kilo! hahahaha

i think one tends to feel xtremely less confident esp bila comel n stil young trang trang..(iyea la masa tu teenage hormones kan tinggi)...

i still feel less confident but not as i used to... esp now..i am keeping my focus on...and with everybody's support... i am feeling so much better :0)

p.s -nasib baik masa emotional time tu.. dekat raya..so selamat hari raya.. maaf zahir dan batin... we all dah bermaaf maafan dah :0)

akak..nak nak... i will be really grateful if u can share that recipe...

i am decreasing on my coke... so what i do now is drinking fruit flavoured soda...the plain one i tak suka..so the flavoured one is better..no doubt depa letak sugar of some sort inside the soda... but i am sure it is less than coke.. besides... the soda. tu..i can leave the cp open for days n it is still fizzy... :0)

my back is my worst nightmare la akak.. kerja kuat sikit... my kaki sakit -sebab tulang belakang sakit...its the nerve thing kot)(n i still work hard)... when the weather gets cold..kaki sakit
..so that is the problem... tulang belakang sakit... my kaki teraffected...it is time i get help kot..

Simah, check my blog later and I will have it there just for you. I also found that there are tons of other uses for bicarbonate soda, so I might as well make an entry on that! Hehe.

You know, whether we are over the ideal weight, or underweight, it's just the same as long as we are not in the perceived *normal* weight range. I can't offer much advise and don't have much experience in trying to shake off excess weight because most of my younger days, my battle was to put on weight. I went through a period of being very much underweight in my late teens right up to the time I became pregnant with my second child (at 30). I felt inferior and very uncomfortable. Not that I was bullimic or anorexic - makan macam biasa tapi dok kurus macam lidi - so I never thought to seek medical help, but being underweight did give me some health-related problems. I had palpitations and even panic attacks! Dah lah tu, selalu rasa rendah diri and jealous at people with curves. Tapi alhamdulillah after the second pregnancy, macam my hormones decided to behave and I managed to fill up a little bit. Sekarang ni, ala, biasalah dah over 40, gelebeh sana gelebeh sini sikit :-) However, whatever our age or our weight, I suppose we do need to take care of our health and watch what we eat.

Persevere, Simah!! Looks like you've already lost some kilos there, so that's a good start.
